Short interview with Christina Aguilera and The Voice finalist Beverly McClellan did a short interview on the red carpet for The Voice after party.
I just noticed, Beverly's last name is McClellan, I've been calling her Beverly Shane. D'oh!

It's finally been officially confirmed that music legend Christina Aguilera will return for the second season of The Voice.
A source who spoke to the Hollywood Reporter claimed "she signed weeks ago."
Season two starts right after the Superbowl in Feb.

An interesting move on Christina's part if this is true. He's written some decent songs and he's also written duds. Let's hope he brings his A Game for Christina.

So what do Star claim? Star claims that Christina's new boyfriend, Matthew Ruttler, is demanding she quit The Voice. I know, I had to read that twice before the complete stupidity of it hit me fully, as well.
Regarding the title, "Christina Is Leaving", erm...no. Fans already know she's signed up for season two. Do Star even know how to check facts?
I'm not even going to post the "quotes" from the "sources" because there's enough stupidity in the title alone, you can however click here if you need a really good laugh.

To put it in the context, 'Not Myself Tonight' could only peak at #23, and that was with a music video and (some) radio play.
'Moves Like Jagger' has no music video and has had almost no radio play, it relied solely on The Voice and the fans determination to see the song do well.
Now, if we could just have a music video...

There has been no comment from either Britney or Christina's PR teams, but I doubt this is ever going to happen. Sure they're friends but could you imagine Christina out singing Britney on a Britney song? That's what I thought.

It has been revealed that Stevie Nicks will be performing with Javier Colon, Ryan Tedder will be performing with Beverly Shane and Pat Monahan (Train lead singer) will perform with Vicci Martinez. No word yet on what they'll be singing.

There is finally proof that Americans are starting to love Christina Aguilera again. Not only is 'Moves Like Jagger' still #1 on Itunes and is expected to enter somewhere around the top 10 on the Billboard Charts tomorrow, but Christina's 2008 greatest hits album, 'Keeps Gettin' Better' and re entered the Itunes chart is currently #10 - and gaining. In a under an hour the album jumped from #12 to #10 and fans are hoping it can continue to jump up the chart.
